Virtual Reality
PS Herald is a pilot project collaboration between HS Kaiserslautern and the Australian National Maritime Museum. Using a photo scan of an authentic wreck site provided by Dr. James Hunter's team, my colleagues and I have developed an immersive VR experience that allows you to explore the paddle steamer Herald from an archaeologist's perspective. Our tasks included digitally reconstructing the ship, its flora and fauna, creating essential objects to narrate the PS Herald's story, and seamlessly integrating everything into an engaging VR journey.
